My scientific interest lies in a mix of analytical/ medical/ environmental/ geochemistry.

Feb 2011 - Present: Ph. D student with Dr. Juergen Kast at UBC Biomedical Research Centre in Experimental Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine.

July 2007- June 2012: M. Sc. with Dr. Rob O’Brien at UBC- Okanagan at the ORCAC (Okanagan Regional Chemical Analysis Centre) in analytical chemistry.

Jan ‘06- Dec ‘06: grad work in land use/ climate change under Dr. RT Patterson, Carleton University.

Sept ‘04- April ‘05: B. Sc. Chem honours project, co-supervised by Dr. Bob Burk & Dr. RT Patterson.

Sept ‘02- Dec ‘05: Research Asst to Dr. RT Patterson, Carleton University

Jan ‘01- April ‘01: Examined PAHs under supervision of Dr. Andrew Mosi, Langara College
